The Brief
From the Shire to the Strip
With no guarantee of selection — and no budget — the challenge was to help the Sharks stake their claim for the 2025 NRL season opener in Las Vegas. We needed to sell the story before it even began, by building a bold, compelling case to the NRL that captured the energy, identity, and ambition of our club on the world stage.
The Approach

I led the creative direction and visual style, designing a unified look that worked across social, web, and print — all crafted lean, in-house, and with intent. With no budget, we maximised what we had:
Developed visual assets to support the pitch deck and communications with the NRL.
Assisted in video production to tell the Sharks' story with energy and clarity.
Built the foundation for a full campaign, should we get the nod.
When the selection was confirmed, that same work became the launch platform — evolving from internal sell-in to public campaign, with agility and consistency baked in.
The Result
Earned the Slot. Owned the Moment.
The pitch worked — the Sharks were locked in to face the Panthers at Allegiant Stadium in 2025. And because we planned for success, the campaign rollout was seamless. We flipped a zero-budget pitch into a high-impact launch moment, bringing fans along for the ride from announcement to anticipation — all while elevating the club’s presence on the global stage.
